History

Academia de san Vicente Ferrer was officially founded on January 23, 2005 in honor of Saint Vincent Ferrer, the patron saint of the parish in Lumampong Halayhay, Indang, Cavite. The school became stable, grew in terms of population.  High School Department was given Recognition by the Department of Education in 2007. It was certified by the Fund for assistance to Private Education ( FAPE) in 2008. In April, 2019 the school was turned over to the Diocese of Imus Catholic Educational System (DICES ), while the formal signing of contract between the former owner and Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista was held on August 8, 2019. Although facing much challenges during this time of pandemic, the school hopes that it will continue to serve the children of nearby communities through the DICES FLEX Program.
